REMEMBERING FATHERS

I had a complicated relationship with my father. But in his final years. he did open up to my sisters and me … finally meeting his grandchildren.

Today I am thrilled to see the fathers my sons have become; loving and dedicated to their families. I am also eternally blessed that, Ruben, my husband, was always both a father and a family man, and a wonderful example to us all.

WHEN TIME SLIPS AWAY

How does the time slip so quickly from our grasp? How is it that so suddenly our future twines our past?

My friend, we must be mindful of the years that we’ve been given.

For life is truly precious and its value often hidden …
